I came to Dr. Tardanico because of TMJ and also neck and back pain. I've had TMJ for many years and the only treatment so far has been a mouth guard, which I have been wearing for the last 3 years. It did help to stave off the acute reaction until this summer when the pain came back.
Since starting the chiropractic treatment at this office two months ago, the condition has very much improved. No pain now! The back and neck pain are very much improved too, but I do need an occasional alignment.
Dr. Tardanico has helped me with my chronic back and neck pain and the inability to even open my mouth because the TMJ was so bad. Because Dr. Tardanico has helped me so much, my daughter has gone to him for her Carpal Tunnel and is doing great.

I was diagnosed over ten years ago with Carpal tunnel and TMJ and was told to take cortisone shots or surgery. I came here with the recommendation from my mother. Dr. Tardanico helped her with her TMJ and now she feels so much better. Before coming here she wasn’t able to eat solid food, her TMJ got so bad.
I thought it over not knowing what to expect but - sick of being in pain - made an appointment. I am so glad I did. He has helped me so much. With just a few weeks of treatment I feel so much better. He truly goes out of his way for me and cares about his patients. I had pain just driving my car. Now I feel so good. I want to give tennis a shot, which I haven’t played in years due to the pain I was feeling.
I also have some TMJ from having braces years ago that he has helped me get under control. I’m truly thankful I tried chiropractic care before getting surgery because now I don’t feel as though I need it. DR. Tardanico is a great doctor and I am very thankful.

I came to Dr. Tardanico because of several problems. I have fused ankles, which throw my gait off. I had pains and tightness in my shoulders and neck and lower back pain. I've had this condition for 17 years and the previous therapy lasted two and a half years, without much improvement. I found Dr. Tardanico after our family moved here. I've been in treatment by the Dr. for 4 months now. My upper back, lower back and my emotions are much improved. I am sleeping better. I began with 3x per week treatment, now I am able to go just once every 2 weeks. I highly recommend treatment by Dr. Tardanico.

I went to Dr. Tardanico because of lower back pain. First, in 1977 I had an operation on L4. L5 in 1988. In pain every few years. Many times could not walk for a few months. Went to many surgeons and had MRIs done. All they did is give me pills to kill the pain.
Dr. Tardanico was the only one that helped me get back on my feet. Lately, I had problems with L3 and L4 and he was the only one that helped me walk straight again. I will always give him the credit for helping me with my back pain, not the surgeons.

I came to Tardanico chiropractic for thoracic and lumbar pain from degenerative disc disease, a condition which I've had for over 25 years. I previously tried medication, facet injections, and multiple other treatments that never worked because they gave me only sporadic and temporary relief from pain. The results I have received from Dr. Tardanico have been extra ordinary. I have needed no pain medication since starting chiropractic care two months ago and I am much more mobile now. The quality of care has been beyond excellence. Dr. Tardanico is God!

Well, it is best to start at the beginning: I am a plumber. I first injured my back on April 1, 1997.
Since February of 2000, I have had 5 back surgeries, each operation provided relief for a short period of time.
Around 2001 I developed right hip pain, the pain had increased to the point where walking 50 yards caused me severe pain. Along with the hip pain, my back pain was a constant 5-7 on the pain scale.
A good day for me was being able to bend over to tie my sneakers.
Recent M.R.I.'s showed 2 herniated discs as well as facet degeneration throughout the lumbar spine. Also, an aneurysm was discovered by Dr. Tardanico, who on his own time went to the Quincy Medical Center to go over the X-Rays with their specialist to determine the size and location.
Now comes the good part: At first Dr. Tardanico was reluctant to take me on as a new patient. Dr.Tee was amazed I was not in a wheelchair after he reviewed the Lumbar M.R.I s and X-Rays.
Since I've been under Dr. Tardanico's care, my mobility has increased 10-fold and the chronic pain in my back has decreased to a manageable level.
I am able to do things that 6 months ago were impossible to accomplish. Dr. Tardanico's methods are pain free and I have not felt this good in 10 years. My hip pain has been diagnosed as a facet joint syndrome and there is nerve damage. I will be having a procedure called rhizotomy which will help to alleviate the nerve damage.
My quality of life has improved immensely and has give me a much better outlook on life.
Dr. Tardanico deserves all the credit for my improvement. Not only is he a great doctor, he is also a fantastic person who deserves more recognition then he receives.

I've come to Dr. Tardanico because of problems in my neck, mid-back, lower back and sciatica pain. My back problems are job related and been going on for several years. I was previously diagnosed with chronic neck an back pain and treated with ultra sound, traction, etc.
I've been in Dr. Tardanico's care for about two years now and my condition is much improved. I would definitively recommend chiropractic care because it has kept my back and neck from stiffening up.

I came to Dr. Tardanico because I have long been suffering (40 years) from advanced arthritis, which causes pain, stiffness, inability to turn my neck very far. It makes driving on the highway difficult. I've previously been diagnosed with spondylosis and prescribed physical therapy. The last treatment lasted 6 weeks and did not improve my condition.
I was afraid to see a chiropractor, thinking the treatment would be harsh. A few of my friends had very high praise for Dr. Tardanico, so I took a chance and came to see him. After a thorough exam in which he explained everything that was wrong with my neck and what he was going to do, I was very relaxed. His treatment is very gentle and an extra bonus is that he is very personal and a real nice person.
My condition has much improved. I can turn my head much better. I am standing much taller and my shoulders are relaxed.

I've had severe lower back pain for decades. Diagnosed with spungylolistesis and protrusion of the L4-L5 discs, I turned to conventional medicine such as physical therapy and medication, which gave me only temporary relief. Frustrated, I literally put my pain in Dr. Phil Tardanico's hands.

Prior to Dr. T, I had seen multiple chiropractors and medical doctors without lasting improvement. Just 5 weeks with Dr. T enabled me to go 4 years "without" significant back pain.
It was only recently, after a long overseas excursion and subjecting my lower back to undue strain, that I've had need to go back to Dr. T. Indeed, his initial treatment was so effective, I based a large part of my residential location on proximity to Dr. T.

I came to Dr. Tardanico because of low back pain and sciatica. I was first diagnosed with this condition 21 years ago and was prescribed muscle relaxers, to stay in bed (3 weeks at one time) and told no lifting and not much sitting.
Dr. T was a welcome "miracle" I came to him crying and in severe pain. I had a 1 year old to care for and couldn't. He helped me get back to a "normal" life, pain free! I thank God for him. I continue to see him for preventative maintenance 1 x per month.

My foot troubles began in 1999, when for no apparent reason, it felt as if I had bruised the sole of my right foot. My physician diagnosed plantar Fascitis, and recommended stretching exercises, which I did. I then had two steroid injections in my right sole, followed by physical therapy. I also had expensive orthotic supports made for both feet. Eventually the symptoms and pain moved to my left foot as well. I then saw a massage therapist twice a week for an entire year having my feet massaged. The pain was incredible, the out-of-pocket expenses were exorbitant, and I was still hobbling around in discomfort. Absolutely nothing I did alleviated the pain. A new acquaintance mentioned Dr. Tardanico and the electro-stimulation machine he used in treatments, so, desperate for relief, I made an appointment in 2003. After a month or so of visits, three times a week, the pain began to subside. Dr. Tardanico also used ultrasound, in conjunction with electro-stimulation machine, and I soon started to feel much better. His personal care and concern and innovative treatment are the reason my health has been restored. Although not perfect, my feet are practically pain-free, and I now see Dr. Tardanico perhaps once a month to keep my feet happy!
